The charging current will automatically adjust the power according to the requirements of the mobile phone. Once the phone is fully charged it will turn off.
Location and Mounting:
Place the sanitizer in a safe location in your vehicle where it will not obstruct your view or interfere with airbag deployment. The anti-slip pad will adhere to most clean surfaces on the dash or console. For semi-permanent mounting use the supplied round tape disc.

Does it only sanitize phones?
No! The UV8LED can sanitize any item that fits inside. The interior dimensions are 7.75" x 4" x 1" making it perfect for watches, earbuds, IDs, keys, credit cards and more.
How many UV-C LEDs does it have?
The UV8LED uses 8 hi-power broad-beam UV-C LEDs. These LEDs have a 160 degree dispersion pattern to sanitize all throughout the interior chamber.
Will sanitizing while driving damage my phone?
The UV8LED includes transparent phone supports inside the chamber to keep your phone secure while driving, preventing it from moving around inside the chamber. The removable silicone non-slip pad allows you to mount the sanitizer in the optimal location for your specific vehicle. Common mounting locations include the dash and center console.
How does the wireless charging work?
The lid of the UV8LED includes a built-in 10W wireless charging pad. To charge your phone, or other device with support for wireless charging, simply place it on top of the sanitizer. The light in the sanitizer's power button will turn blue when charging.
Why are they cable pass-throughs on either side of the sanitizing chamber?
The rubberized cable pass-throughs provide wired charging for a device while in the sanitizing chamber. This is prefect for connecting to Android Auto or Apple CarPlay while driving.
